  My wife, Lacey and I, are grateful to introduce ourselves as the new owners of the Langham Creek Ace Hardware Store and to have the opportunity to serve our community daily. 

An oil company moved us to Houston in the 

mid-90’s with our two young daughters. We have been residents of the Cypress community for 30 years and raised our five children to adulthood here. We graduated a Cy-Falls Golden Eagle in ’08 and four Cy-Fair Bobcats in ’12, ’16, ’18 and ’20. We are now proud Meme and Pops to 6 beautiful grandchildren.

I thrived for over 30 years working for or supporting oil companies by providing accounting and system implementation services. While both Lacey and I were grateful for our corporate jobs, it was always our dream to have our own business. Over the years, we looked at multiple opportunities, but never seemed to find the right fit. That was until we found Langham Creek Ace Hardware.

After our youngest turned 21, we searched vigorously to find local business ownership opportunities and we felt that we were divinely led to Chuck and Arlene O’Malley. They were looking for the right local couple to take over their business so they could retire, spend more time with family, travel the world, and continue to serve the community they love so dearly.

We want to thank Chuck and Arlene for building such a great business during the 16 years they owned the store, and for trusting us enough to carry their legacy forward. Our goal is to continue striving to be the most helpful hardware store and gift shop in the Cypress community.
